Weak Adults & Corrupt Children | pll 3
The ABC Family hit Pretty Little Liars has been the most talked-about show on television since its debut, and Jacob Clifton at Television Without Pity has been part of that conversation since it started. WEAK ADULTS & CORRUPT CHILDREN is the third of seven volumes, collecting Jacob’s popular columns throughout the show’s Winter 2012 season.
A month after somehow being framed for Ali’s murder, the girls act out and are total messes. Emily almost kills A, yet again, and get glass in her hair. Hanna runs over A with her car, which is satisfying. In a moment of panic, Hanna tries to murder Lucas in a boat.
Aria makes friends with a secret karate boy.
Toby gets one visit from A too many, and leaves town. Ezra and Aria kiss in the rain, now that he is no longer her teacher but just a very old person who touches her. Mona and Caleb are semi-invited to be Liars on a trial basis, and yet more video of That Night is unearthed.
Alison’s alter ego, the brunette Vivian Darkbloom, is introduced, as is her coat. Everybody tells the truth on a special day set aside for this purpose, and feminism is advanced. Jason’s parentage is exhaustively confirmed. Maya is sent to the old folks’ home, or disappears and survives for a very sad and desperate few months. Jenna Thing explodes once more... And A is revealed.
