One Thing About Boys | pll 4

The ABC Family hit Pretty Little Liars has been the most talked-about show on television since its debut, and Jacob Clifton at Television Without Pity has been part of that conversation since it started. ONE THING ABOUT BOYS is the fourth of seven volumes, collecting Jacob’s popular columns throughout the show’s Summer 2012 season.

It’s been five months since A was revealed, and now Emily is just drunk all the time. She gets kidnapped and taken on a whirlwind tour of time and space before ending up at Alison’s grave, where A gets new pictures to hold over the girls’ heads. As Emily pieces together her memories of that night, we slowly learn the awful fate of poor Maya St. Germaine, which includes not only a humiliating website but also a murderous robot cabin. With Mona playing Hannibal from inside Radley Sanitarium, and Jenna’s sight returning at random intervals, the girls have frenemies to spare.

Melissa’s mysterious baby, the Redcoat invasion, a strange cupcake-themed birthday party at which Paige goes fully haywire, and Ezra’s horrible parents are also too much take. Emily spends the season getting stalked by Maya’s pretend cousin, chased up a lighthouse, and becomes a murderess; the latest member of the A-Team is revealed and it’s very sad, with kind of a weird-looking face.
